Description

  • Lead clinical study operations, including project planning, timelines, reporting, budgets, monitoring, site and vendor management, clinical supplies, and data collection.
  • Serve as the primary contact among sponsors, study teams, and cross-functional groups.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute project plans, including monitoring, communication, project management, and eTMF plans.
  • Manage study budgets and track out-of-scope work in partnership with the Client Manager and Finance team.
  • Ensure studies comply with GCP, applicable SOPs, regulatory requirements, protocols, and project-specific plans.
  • Monitor project progress, manage critical paths, adjust timelines, and escalate risks and issues as needed.
  • Assess resource needs and delegate responsibilities to ensure team members have appropriate tools and support.
  • Lead, motivate, mentor, and train study team members on protocols, therapeutic areas, and required procedures.
  • Provide senior management with study updates, resource needs, sponsor issues, and overall study health.
  • Oversee external vendor activities and deliverables and coordinate communication with vendors, sponsors, and study teams.

Requirements

  • RN, bachelor's degree, or advanced degree in biological sciences or a related field; equivalent relevant experience, education, training, and prior CRA experience may be considered.
  • Experience successfully managing multifaceted clinical studies from inception through implementation and completion.
  • Proven effectiveness as a team leader, including the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience managing projects in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to lead by example and encourage team members to independently identify solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and OneNote (preferred).
