Description

  • Own end-to-end construction management for large-scale EV charging infrastructure projects, including light-duty and heavy-duty fleet sites.
  • Oversee greenfield and brownfield development, including demolition or renovation and integration of on-site energy assets such as battery storage, solar PV, and low-emission generators.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with engineering firms, contractors, vendors, and internal subject matter experts to support project development and execution.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders through reporting and project meetings.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve risks or issues that could affect timeline, cost, or quality.
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction budget forecasts and project schedules.
  • Evaluate project requirements to identify value engineering and schedule acceleration opportunities.
  • Support permitting, utility interconnection coordination, and contractor engagement activities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Business Development, Energy & Utilities, Product, Real Estate, Development, Technology, Site Operations, and Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in construction or project management.
  • Experience managing development or construction of new infrastructure projects.
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools and software such as Procore, Smartsheets, Confluence, TestFit, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative, non-standard solutions when standard construction methods or utility requirements threaten project viability.
  • Experience managing complex civil or electrical infrastructure projects in one or more of the following areas: site development and civil construction, electrical infrastructure or power systems, renewable energy or clean energy development, EV charging or vehicle electrification, commercial or industrial renovations, power grid or energy infrastructure, or freight, fleet transport, or logistics facilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed, anticipated up to 40%.
  • Preferred: ability to influence AHJs and local utilities in markets such as Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, and New Orleans to accelerate permitting for complex infrastructure projects.
  • Preferred: experience developing accurate conceptual budgets from preliminary site plans and identifying key cost drivers before detailed engineering.
  • Preferred: experience developing modular kit-of-parts product selections for rapid, repeatable site deployment across different markets and utility jurisdictions.
  • Preferred: experience identifying high-impact value engineering opportunities to reduce underground trenching and copper usage while maintaining long-term power scalability.
