Description

  • Establish and own the company’s AI Governance and Risk Management Framework across relevant engineering and product teams.
  • Partner with Legal to translate emerging global AI regulations into engineering requirements, compliance plans, and a unified roadmap.
  • Develop and improve risk management systems, internal policies, AI safety principles, and compliance metrics for responsible AI practices.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across Legal, Security, Privacy, Data Engineering, and Product to reduce distributed AI risks.
  • Incorporate AI compliance program status into leadership risk management reporting.
  • Create and maintain tracking and review processes for GenAI features and open-source model usage.
  • Use AI tools to turn ambiguous cross-functional inputs into execution artifacts such as charters, milestones, decision docs, and launch readiness checklists.
  • Drive consensus and decision-making across stakeholders on compliance, risk, and program priorities.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs in multi-team programs and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a technical program manager supporting Compliance, Trust & Safety, or related programs.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve TPM throughput and clarity at scale across multi-team programs.
  • Strong judgment using AI in high-stakes, fast-moving environments where outputs must be verified.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to develop and lead a new initiative from the ground up.
  • Solid technical background with the ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks quickly.
  • Experience breaking down complex problems and driving decision-making.
  • Strong analytical ability to create and monitor metrics and proactively identify growth opportunities and incidents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for communicating nuanced technical concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to influence teams and drive alignment among multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience creating and driving efficient processes at scale.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer and information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with policy/compliance escalations, growth regressions, or incidents involving AI workflows is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely, with in-office collaboration required 1 time every 6 months.
  • This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

  • Base salary range of $145,747 to $300,067 USD for US-based applicants.
