Description

  • Build technology using deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest.
  • Collaborate with teams across Pinterest to experiment with and improve ML models for multiple product surfaces.
  • Use data-driven methods to improve candidate retrieval and ranking.
  • Leverage Pinterest’s data properties to develop recommendation and personalization solutions.
  • Apply LLMs and embeddings to enhance content understanding.
  • Conduct rapid experimentation and support high-impact product launches.
  • Monitor industry trends in recommendation systems.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the offered role or a related software engineering field.
  • At least 3 years of experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, LaTeX, scikit-learn, SQL, Python, Java, Hive, recommendation algorithms, Git, Spark, R, MATLAB, natural language processing, and deep learning.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $277,000–$332,012 per year for U.S.-based applicants.
  • Position eligible for equity.
  • Telecommuting and/or remote work permitted.
