Description

  • Manage the full life cycle of information technology projects from planning and design through programming, testing, and implementation.
  • Develop project plans that define tasks, milestones, scope, resources, budget, and personnel needs.
  • Use Agile methodologies to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects.
  • Define project scope and schedule, and break large projects into manageable sequences.
  • Determine project needs and acquire the resources required for project success.
  • Coordinate planning, management, leadership, budgeting, customer contact, and execution of large-scale and complex projects.
  • Apply technical understanding of IT, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems and services.
  • Communicate with internal service delivery teams, client project teams, external service providers, and senior government officials.
  • Monitor and manage projects to successful, high-quality, on-budget completion.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience supporting Information Technology as a Project Manager.
  • Active and maintained Non-Sensitive / High Risk (Public Trust) security clearance (Tier 4/6c).
  • PMP certification or PgMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong technical understanding of Information Technology, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems and services.
  • Experience with government contracting processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior government officials.
  • Ability to work with key managers, functional experts, internal teams, client teams, and external service providers.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in program management and large-scale, complex projects similar in scope and complexity to the stated work.
  • Knowledge of recent technological advances in computer science and engineering.
