Description

  • Serve as project leader to ensure timely completion of project objectives and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships that support task orders competed on vehicle.
  • Coordinate the transition from project development to implementation and completion.
  • Organize and coordinate project resources, including steering committees, project teams, and work groups.
  • Develop high-level and detailed project plans, timelines, and task ownership.
  • Define and gain approval for communications, issue management, and scope management strategies.
  • Evaluate project risks, document issues, and develop contingency or escalation plans as needed.
  • Prepare and communicate project documentation, status reports, change control reports, meeting notes, and lessons learned.
  • Coordinate requirements and design documentation and ensure approvals are completed.
  • Support steering committee, project team, and executive communications, including presentations and project website updates.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain the integrity and security of institutional data.

Requirements

  • Current PMP certification is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Research & Development Project Management, Clinical or Scientific Grants Management, or Clinical/Research Federal programming.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field is required, or equivalent experience with a Bachelor’s degree plus 15 years of experience.
  • Experience leading projects through development, implementation, monitoring, controlling, and closeout phases.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Experience evaluating cross-system impacts and coordinating stakeholder input.
  • Experience supporting federal or government-facing projects is preferred.
  • Experience managing project documentation, reporting, and approvals across multiple teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and support regulatory compliance requirements.
