Description

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture engagements for QAD ERP opportunities with a primary focus on financial processes.
  • Serve as the primary financial subject matter expert for QAD financial modules and related operational context.
  • Prepare and deliver software demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Guide prospects through complex sales cycles by aligning technical architecture with business strategy.
  • Lead client discovery sessions, document financial and operational requirements, and identify process dependencies.
  • Translate discovery findings into scalable solution designs aligned with QAD's product roadmap and SIG intellectual property.
  • Collaborate with account executives and business solutions teams on proposals, statements of work, and value propositions.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, solutions architecture, and consulting delivery teams to ensure accurate handoff and scope alignment.
  • Assess existing financial systems and recommend QAD solutions, integrations, or partner offerings to close gaps.
  • Support post-sale requirements and design knowledge transfer to set implementations up for success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in ERP solution architecture, pre-sales, consulting, or a combination of these roles.
  • Deep functional expertise in ERP financial modules, including General Ledger, Cost Accounting, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, and Multi-Currency/Multi-Entity management.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and present integrated enterprise solutions with finance as the primary domain.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills for engaging CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, and other C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to map process improvements to technology solutions.
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Automotive, or Industrial Manufacturing verticals is strongly preferred.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple concurrent engagements professionally.
  • Strong collaboration skills across sales, delivery, and product teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience with QAD Adaptive ERP (WebUI) and familiarity with QAD's product roadmap is preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional finance certification is preferred.
  • Background in financial systems implementation, project management, or business process re-engineering is preferred.
  • Experience delivering software demonstrations and facilitating discovery workshops is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SIG IP solutions or relevant third-party financial applications is preferred.
  • Experience with integration architecture between ERP financial modules and external reporting, tax, or treasury systems is preferred.
  • Working familiarity with QAD operational modules, including Manufacturing and Distribution, is preferred.

Benefits

  • $135,000 - $150,000 base salary.
  • Up to 55% incentive bonus at target.
  • On-target earnings of approximately $209,250 - $240,250.
  • Approximately 20-30% travel for client meetings, workshops, demonstrations, and industry events.
