Description

  • Define and execute the strategic vision for the Application Development, AI, and ML practice.
  • Establish and promote methodologies, frameworks, architectures, and delivery patterns for cloud-native and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 50+ software engineers, architects, AI, and consulting professionals.
  • Oversee delivery of customer engagements to ensure high-quality execution, strong satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Strengthen partnerships with technology partners such as AWS and Anthropic to expand service offerings.
  • Support pre-sales efforts, go-to-market strategies, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership through industry awareness, conferences, webinars, customer conversations, and partner events.
  • Champion practical and responsible use of AI-powered tools to accelerate internal delivery and improve customer outcomes.
  • Help shape the technical vision and enforce best practices across the practice.
  • Collaborate with clients and sales leaders to develop high-impact solution approaches.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and software development, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling an engineering practice or department, ideally in an AWS-focused services company.
  • Proven experience delivering large, multi-million-dollar software projects.
  • Deep expertise in AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
  • Deep expertise in software development patterns, architectures, and best practices.
  • Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients across multiple industries.
  • Experience working with cross-practice teams such as talent, sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Experience building, delivering, and using AI products and solutions.
  • AWS certifications preferred.
  • Experience in a client-facing environment preferred.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services preferred.
  • Experience in a product-focused SaaS company preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% depending on business needs.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
