Description

  • Own and deliver security revenue targets across new and existing customers.
  • Identify, qualify, and progress cybersecurity opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from discovery through negotiation and closure.
  • Develop and execute account-level security growth plans with account managers.
  • Engage senior stakeholders such as CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs on cybersecurity strategy and risk.
  • Conduct consultative discovery to uncover business risks, compliance needs, and technical gaps.
  • Present and demonstrate cybersecurity solutions in a clear, business-relevant manner.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to design high-quality security solutions.
  • Work with marketing and delivery teams to support campaigns, go-to-market activity, and implementation handoff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic security vendors and stay current on vendor roadmaps and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience contributing to revenue targets, pipeline growth, and opportunity conversion.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity opportunities across the full sales lifecycle, including qualification and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Commercial experience in a security vendor, managed services provider, or technology solutions environment.
  • Experience working with SMB through to corporate and enterprise organisations.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple security domains such as network security, endpoint, identity, vulnerability management, or threat detection.
  • Experience delivering security assessments, gap analysis, and remediation planning.
  • Strong documentation and writing skills to produce clear, professional content.
  • Ability to combine technical understanding with commercial awareness and customer engagement.
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical, sales, and leadership teams.
  • Microsoft and networking experience and understanding.
  • Consultative selling skills aligned to business outcomes such as risk reduction and resilience.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity market trends, vendors, and emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with key security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS (nice to have).
  • Experience working with leading security vendors and platforms (nice to have).
  • Exposure to compliance and governance requirements across different industries (nice to have).
  • Experience with managed security services such as SOC, MDR, or SIEM (nice to have).
  • Understanding of cloud security and Zero Trust concepts (nice to have).

  • Up to £60,000 annual salary depending on skills and experience.
  • OTE circa £90,000 with uncapped commission.
  • Remote UK-based working with client and Cybit office visits required.
