Description

  • Own accounting operations across multiple business lines and consolidated reporting.
  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee audits, general ledger accounting, treasury, accounts receivable and billing, and accounts payable.
  • Lead, develop, and support a small accounting team.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, presentation materials, and variance commentary for leadership.
  • Lead the transition to a new ERP platform, including data flows, system setup, and group reporting integration.
  • Partner with Pine Services Group on audits, capital expenditures, sales tax, and consolidation.
  • Strengthen systems, controls, and reporting processes as the business scales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Active or recently active CPA license, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people leadership.
  • Demonstrated ownership of month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, particularly ASC 606 revenue and cost recognition.
  • Hands-on experience with mid-market ERP systems such as Business Central or Acumatica.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to produce executive-ready reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to deadlines.
  • ERP implementation or migration experience preferred.
  • Experience in private equity-backed or public organizations, professional services, consulting, or technology services preferred; Power BI experience is also preferred.
