Description

  • Develop Pigment’s SaaS platform as part of the engineering team.
  • Participate in the full application development lifecycle, including design, coding, and production support.
  • Build a comprehensive and user-friendly product for internal teams and end users.
  • Translate functional requirements into elegant and simple technical designs and deliver the code.
  • Understand product and customer needs in depth and contribute innovative ideas that deliver end-user value.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team across backend and frontend work, with no strict separation between the two.
  • Keep the production platform up and running.
  • Select practical tools and technologies based on the problem being solved.

Requirements

  • Experience as a software engineer working on a product in production.
  • Proven experience designing object-oriented software.
  • Experience with one or more object-oriented or systems languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
  • Strong software engineering ability to translate requirements into simple, effective designs and code.
  • Great team spirit and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Humility and willingness to keep learning and growing.
  • Ability to understand customer and product needs in detail.
  • Experience in a product-focused engineering environment is preferred.
