Description

  • Provide technical support to global customers using Picus solutions and related security products.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve customer issues with minimal supervision.
  • Take ownership of support cases and drive them through to resolution.
  • Develop and validate creative technical solutions in a lab environment.
  • Work with Product Development and Product Management to align implementations with customer requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and regularly contribute to technical support documentation.
  • Share knowledge through training, mentoring, and documentation creation.
  • Identify recurring field issues, document them, and track them to resolution.
  • Guide customers through onboarding and familiarization with Picus software.
  • Support release readiness and act as a gate point for new releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
  • A few years of experience in cybersecurity and the security/threat landscape.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with log management, global SIEM, EDR, and XDR tools.
  • Ability to optimize queries using best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux system administration.
  • Basic understanding of Windows-based and Linux-based operating systems, including management, operation, and risks.
  • Expert technical knowledge of TCP/IP networks and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with networking topics such as protocol analysis and Wireshark.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with good interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort working in both client-facing remote and onsite environments.
  • Ability to work core hours of 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST, Monday through Friday.
