Description

Facilitate discussions and lead engineering decision-making for the team.
Define and execute engineering plans for the areas under ownership.
Drive engineering best practices across the team.
Define, implement, and maintain production system hygiene, including engineering and process controls.
Own the health of the business directly managed by the team.
Challenge business and product outcomes, translate feedback into execution, and own engineering outputs.
Hire, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team.
Manage stakeholders across business, product, operations, clients, and vendors.

Requirements

11+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of experience leading teams.
Experience designing and developing solutions from simple to complex.
Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
Proven track record of building and managing high-performing software development teams.
Ability to drive design and architecture across multiple subsystems with senior team members.
BTech, MTech, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex technical information clearly.
Experience with startups and fast-paced environments is an added advantage.
