Description

  • Act as the Microsoft licensing subject matter expert for sales teams and education customers.
  • Support new and renewal agreements end-to-end, including EES, EA/EAS, SCE, and CSP.
  • Respond to licensing queries and manage escalations in a timely manner.
  • Produce cost models, projections, bids, and rebate calculations.
  • Peer review outputs and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Deliver customer meetings, workshops, and tender presentations.
  • Advise customers on best practice for renewals, anniversaries, and licensing optimisation.
  • Track key licensing milestones and help ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Follow information security and data protection standards.

Requirements

  • Existing knowledge of Microsoft licensing agreements, with willingness to build deeper expertise.
  • Experience in a VAR, MSP, sales, administration, or operational role within a similar channel or reseller environment.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing programmes, contracts, and frameworks.
  • Commercial awareness and experience supporting or working alongside sales teams.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Proactive, resourceful problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships with internal teams and Microsoft stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working, including travel and out-of-hours support where required.
  • Must be able to pass a BPSS (Baseline Personal Security Standard) check.
