Description

  • Conduct federal facility site visits to identify and develop advanced manufacturing and lifecycle service opportunities.
  • Generate and qualify leads for strategic maintenance and preventive maintenance opportunities.
  • Develop proposals and pricing structures that align with technical and contractual requirements.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of opportunities from initial outreach through contract award and post-award follow-up.
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement, consistent site presence, and close collaboration.
  • Use CRM and bid board management systems to track and manage multiple high-priority initiatives.
  • Ensure all submissions are compliant and aligned with customer and contract requirements.
  • Participate in pre-award and post-award reviews to support pipeline generation and growth.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, vendors, and customer teams to deliver lifecycle solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery, manufacturing technology, and industrial equipment.
  • 5 or more years of sales experience, ideally focused on the federal government.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, vendors, operations, and customer teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively manage tasks and deadlines.
  • Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel 60-80% of the time throughout the United States.
  • Must be a United States citizen due to customer requirements.
  • Must live near a major airport.
  • Experience with federal contracting and bid/proposal processes is preferred.
