Description

  • Lead designated projects from conception through close-out, including planning, execution, risk management, communication, scope control, and cost control.
  • Serve as the cross-functional lead for assigned projects and monitor operational delivery against contracted timelines and budgets.
  • Create and manage project timelines, budgets, revenue goals, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate development and implementation of new and ongoing studies.
  • Maintain daily coordination and supervision of scheduled activities and delegate responsibilities as needed.
  • Communicate with clients, collaborators, vendors, and internal teams on data management, inventory control, shipping procedures, and project status.
  • Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings and produce reports and correspondence.
  • Track metrics, evaluate budgets monthly, and report variances or out-of-scope work to leadership.
  • Review, update, and maintain project documentation to approvable status and ensure compliance with standards and expectations.
  • Assess and mitigate technical, project, and business risks while resolving operational issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, such as engineering.
  • Experience as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Office/MS 365 applications.
  • Strong understanding of project management and data analysis.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills with exceptional emotional intelligence.
  • Exceptional research, reporting, judgment, and discretion skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English fluently.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays, approximately 10-25%.
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed to meet business demands.
