Description

  • Lead new and existing central laboratory projects from conception through close-out.
  • Own overall project performance, client satisfaction, scope control, and cost control for assigned protocols.
  • Create and manage project timelines, budgets, revenue goals, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate assay development, clinical testing, biorepository/sample management, logistics, and kitting for client studies.
  • Serve as the cross-functional lead and coordinate internal teams, clients, collaborators, and vendors.
  • Monitor operational delivery against contracted timelines and budgets and report variances.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain project documentation, reports, and correspondence.
  • Track project metrics, gather data, and present project information in internal and external meetings.
  • Identify out-of-scope work, manage risks, and escalate issues and action plans as needed.
  • Mentor junior Project Managers and support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, such as engineering.
  • Experience as a Project Manager for central laboratories at a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office/MS 365 applications.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong understanding of project management and data analysis.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional research, reporting, judgment, and discretion skills.
  • Fluency in English, including the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the language.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays, approximately 10-25%.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet business demands.
