Description

  • Own complex customer challenges related to CNC machining, CAM programming, and advanced manufacturing applications.
  • Develop and revolutionize training curriculum and deliver high-value technical education for customers.
  • Perform machine simulations, stock verifications, and onsite post-processor integrations.
  • Provide expert diagnostic support to service teams on 5-axis and mill-turn technology.
  • Deliver live demonstrations that showcase the productivity and ROI potential of CAD/CAM and advanced machining solutions.
  • Support sales teams with technical expertise, including time studies and ROI articulation for CAD/CAM software.
  • Travel to customer sites to lead run-offs, solve technical issues, and support application activities.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers as a strategic technical partner and mentor.

Requirements

  • Expert-level proficiency in CAD modeling and CAM programming, including complex multi-axis workflows and digital manufacturing integration.
  • High-level experience with Haas controls and Mastercam 5-axis or mill-turn machining strategies, simulation, and optimization.
  • Ability to configure, test, validate, and deploy post processors across multiple machine platforms.
  • Expertise in machine simulation, stock verification, probing systems, and virtual commissioning environments.
  • Advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and data tools for technical documentation, training content, time studies, and presentations.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time or more nationally.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to customer requirements.
  • Experience with 5-axis simultaneous milling and complex mill-turn applications.
  • Experience delivering onsite technical support, demonstrations, or application engineering support (preferred).
  • Experience supporting sales teams with technical analysis or customer-facing presentations (preferred).
