Description

  • Prospect high-fit accounts throughout Texas to build pipeline for industrial additive manufacturing solutions.
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert early customer interest into sales opportunities.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to identify customer needs and match the right additive technologies.
  • Engage education-focused accounts and nurture early-stage adopters of additive manufacturing.
  • Close entry-level, educational, and post-processing opportunities.
  • Identify when opportunities are ready for larger-scale industrial solutions and hand them off to Regional Account Managers.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline to track activity, leads, and pipeline development.
  • Collaborate with the applications team, OEM partners, and clients to support the sales process.
  • Represent Phillips as the face of its entry-to-mid-level additive technologies in the Texas market.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of outside industrial or manufacturing sales experience.
  • Experience supporting the sale of capital equipment, manufacturing technology, automation, software-enabled hardware, or technical services.
  • Comfort traveling throughout a defined territory and meeting clients regularly.
  • Excellent understanding of engineering, additive/3D printing, or a similar technical field.
  • Understanding of manufacturers, engineering teams, production environments, and technical buying committees.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, energy, contract manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong CRM discipline and comfort working in a collaborative sales environment.
  • Willingness to continue learning technical concepts related to advanced manufacturing.
