Description

  • Design and implement end-to-end data solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Develop technical solutions that are ready for production deployment.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and data integration requirements.
  • Lead or mentor other engineers and contribute as a team lead.
  • Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries.
  • Create detailed solution documentation, including POCs, roadmaps, sequence diagrams, and logical system views.
  • Communicate with clients through written and verbal presentations and solution discussions.
  • Collaborate across cloud and data platforms to support modern data stack implementations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect and/or Data Engineer designing and implementing data solutions.
  • Experience leading teams and/or mentoring other engineers.
  • Ability to deliver end-to-end technical solutions into production.
  • Programming expertise in Java, Python, and/or Scala.
  • Experience with core cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks, and GCP.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write, debug, and optimize queries.
  • Client-facing written and verbal communication experience.
  • Experience creating and delivering detailed technical presentations.
  • Ability to produce detailed solution documentation, including POCs, roadmaps, sequence diagrams, and class hierarchies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Production experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hadoop, or Databricks (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud and distributed storage systems such as S3, ADLS, HDFS, GCS, Kudu, ElasticSearch/Solr, or Cassandra (preferred).
  • Experience with data integration technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Streamsets, Matillion, Fivetran, NiFi, DMS, Azure Data Factory, IICS, or Google DataProc (preferred).
  • Experience working with multiple data sources, including queues, relational databases, files, search, and APIs (preferred).
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, implementation, testing, and deployment (preferred).
  • Experience with automated data transformation and curation tools such as dbt, Spark, Spark streaming, and automated pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience with workflow management and orchestration tools such as Airflow, AWS Managed Airflow, Luigi, or NiFi (preferred).
