Description

  • Own end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of cloud data and analytics solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Translate business requirements into technical and data platform solutions aligned with phData standards and best practices.
  • Ensure client engagements are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business value.
  • Architect secure, scalable, high-performing data pipelines and integration patterns on modern cloud platforms.
  • Guide implementation teams through design decisions, trade-offs, and solution lifecycle best practices.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, ML, cloud platform, sales, PMO, and practice leadership.
  • Lead workshops, discovery sessions, design reviews, and project delivery activities.
  • Support pre-sales scoping, solutioning, and technical presentations to client stakeholders.
  • Contribute to IP, accelerators, reference architectures, templates, playbooks, training, and mentoring.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and help shape roadmaps and strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture and/or data engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms including Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks, and GCP.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and/or Scala.
  • Advanced SQL skills for writing, debugging, and optimizing complex queries.
  • Experience with cloud and distributed storage systems such as S3, ADLS, HDFS, GCS, Kudu, Elasticsearch/Solr, Cassandra, or similar NoSQL systems.
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Spark, Kafka, Streamsets, Matillion, Fivetran, NiFi, AWS DMS, Azure Data Factory, IICS, or Google DataProc.
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience with automated data transformation and orchestration tools such as dbt, Spark, Spark Streaming, Airflow, AWS Managed Airflow, Luigi, or NiFi.
  • Experience delivering projects in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ownership of multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Experience leading teams and/or mentoring engineers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred: experience designing and operating large-scale data platforms in complex enterprise environments.
  • Preferred: prior experience working in global or remote teams across the US, LATAM, and/or India.
  • Preferred: contributions to open source, technical communities, speaking, writing, or internal accelerators.
