Description

  • Design and implement end-to-end data solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Lead teams and/or mentor other engineers on technical delivery.
  • Develop production-ready solutions that meet performance, security, scalability, and integration requirements.
  • Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries for data workloads.
  • Create and deliver detailed technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Produce solution documentation, including PoCs, roadmaps, sequence diagrams, class hierarchies, and logical system views.
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate on data integration and transformation workflows using modern cloud and data platform tooling.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect and/or Data Engineer designing and implementing data solutions.
  • Experience leading teams and/or mentoring other engineers.
  • Strong programming expertise in Java, Python, and/or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks, and GCP.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write, debug, and optimize queries.
  • Strong client-facing written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver detailed technical presentations.
  • Experience creating detailed solution documentation, including proofs of concept (PoCs), roadmaps, sequence diagrams, class hierarchies, and logical system views.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Candidate must be located in Bangalore (remote).
  • Preferred: Production experience with platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hadoop, and Databricks.
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud and distributed storage systems such as S3, ADLS, HDFS, GCS, Kudu, Elasticsearch, Solr, Cassandra, or other NoSQL systems.
  • Preferred: Experience with data integration technologies such as Spark, Kafka, event streaming, StreamSets, Matillion, Fivetran, NiFi, AWS Data Migration Service, Azure Data Factory, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Google Dataproc, or similar tools.
  • Preferred: Experience working with multiple data sources, including queues, relational databases, files, search platforms, and APIs.
  • Preferred: Complete software development lifecycle experience, including design, documentation, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Preferred: Experience with automated data transformation and data curation using dbt, Spark, Spark Streaming, and automated pipelines.
  • Preferred: Experience with workflow management and orchestration tools such as Airflow, AWS Managed Airflow, Luigi, and NiFi.
