Description

  • Support the dispensing of prescriptions in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ensure prescriptions are dispensed accurately and within agreed service levels.
  • Assist the Clinical team with day-to-day dispensing activities.
  • Take ownership of prescription labelling and dispensing accuracy.
  • Follow Pharmacy2U dispensing procedures and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Services, Purchasing, Operations and Pharmacists.
  • Meet individual and team productivity targets.
  • Maintain compliance with legal, ethical and professional pharmacy standards.
  • Help create a positive, supportive and enjoyable team environment.
  • Prioritise patient safety and quality in all dispensing work.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistant qualification is essential.
  • GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a pharmacy or similarly regulated environment.
  • Experience working accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including intermediate Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Genuine patient-first mindset and commitment to excellent service.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Successful applicants must complete a DBS check.

  • Permanent part-time role with 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
