Description

  • Manage end-to-end initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and payer enrollment for telehealth providers nationwide.
  • Submit and track enrollment applications with government and commercial payers, including Medicare, Medicaid, VA, Tricare, and private payers.
  • Maintain accurate provider records in credentialing systems, payer portals, CAQH, and internal databases.
  • Verify provider credentials, including education, training, board certification, work history, malpractice history, and references.
  • Work with providers, payers, and revenue cycle teams to streamline enrollment and support reimbursement.
  • Monitor payer rosters, enrollment timelines, and data integrity between credentialing and billing systems.
  • Analyze credentialing and enrollment denial trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Support onboarding of new providers by ensuring credentialing and enrollment are complete before patient scheduling.
  • Prepare status, progress, and expiration reports for leadership and compliance purposes.
  • Assist with audits, quality checks, process improvements, training, and mentoring of credentialing staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare credentialing and payer enrollment.
  • Telehealth or multi-state credentialing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of government and commercial payer enrollment requirements.
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes and how credentialing affects reimbursement.
  • Proficiency with credentialing platforms and payer portals, including CAQH.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple providers and payers across states.
  • Strong communication skills for working with providers, payers, and internal teams.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
