Description

  • Own the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and establishing relationships to negotiation and post-sale review.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and expand net new business in large, complex accounts.
  • Prospect for new accounts and increase net new logos through outbound selling activities.
  • Become an expert in Perforce software solutions and connect product capabilities to customer needs.
  • Use solution-selling and value-selling techniques to guide customers through the sales process.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Support, and professional services to advance deals.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and tailor messaging for different buyer audiences.
  • Gather and communicate market and product feedback to Development and Product Management.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and maintain a well-managed pipeline with clear visibility into revenue performance.

Requirements

  • Direct experience working with prospects and customers on professional services and support.
  • Experience working with large system integrators and partners.
  • Previous experience with open source clients and customer-specific support or solutions.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps, or Agile development practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and technologies and clearly articulate their value.
  • Superior presentation and storytelling skills, both in person and virtually.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining timely daily or weekly records.
  • Strong time management skills, proactive territory management, and a competitive, self-motivated approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Base pay range of $100,000 to $110,000 USD, with total annual compensation listed at $110,000 to $220,000.
