Description

  • Manage current accounts and prospect for opportunities in medium and large Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual quota attainment.
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline equal to 3x quota.
  • Prepare accurate weekly forecasts and sales reports for leadership.
  • Maintain clean and current Salesforce records and use MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.
  • Support successful rollout and adoption of Puppet Enterprise and related products through account management and coordination with pre-sales engineering and support.
  • Develop account-based selling strategies and closing plans.
  • Prospect for new customers with channel partners and SI community.
  • Strengthen relationships with current accounts and new prospects to expand renewals into larger strategic deals.
  • Travel as needed to develop account relationships and close opportunities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an enterprise account executive selling into the German and CEE markets.
  • Experience selling software to Fortune 500/1000 accounts.
  • Strong technical acumen and executive presence with director-level to C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience building and executing a territory plan using Target Account Selling or a similar methodology.
  • Ability to drive demand for newer products and sell professional services.
  • Experience calling on platform, infrastructure, and application development teams.
  • Experience selling directly and through channel and alliance partners.
  • Proven track record of success in enterprise software sales.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce hygiene, MEDDPICC, and Command of the Message is preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
