Description

  • Research, compile, and submit state and federal licensure-related applications and renewal forms from draft through final approval.
  • Conduct regulatory research and operational analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Track licensure, renewal, and Eligible Training Provider List applications in new and existing markets.
  • Maintain accurate project data and reporting in Salesforce.
  • Map, document, and update historical and active applications and renewals by market and region.
  • Manage compliance documentation projects and support the creation and maintenance of cross-functional compliance resources.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather required documents and ensure submissions meet application requirements.
  • Follow up with state licensing boards and make technical application revisions as needed.
  • Attend project meetings, take notes, and serve as a compliance subject matter expert in cross-functional meetings.
  • Co-lead compliance office hours, help deliver internal training calls, and support project planning for multi-jurisdictional initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in institutional compliance, regulatory filings, or administrative compliance operations, with at least 3+ years managing a compliance program.
  • Experience in higher education, workforce development, or other heavily government-regulated settings preferred.
  • Master’s degree or Juris Doctor preferred.
  • Proven experience independently managing the full lifecycle of complex regulatory filings, applications, and institutional renewals.
  • Strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze regulatory data with a high commitment to quality and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills across Slack, email, and video meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing regulatory deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and persistence when navigating government bureaucracy via phone and email.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, including data entry, data inquiries, and baseline reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word/Docs and Excel/Sheets.
  • Advanced internet research skills with the ability to navigate complex state regulatory websites and administrative codes.
  • Ability to work independently as a strong self-directed individual contributor.
  • Direct experience with state educational licensing boards and regulatory bodies preferred.
  • Experience preparing teams for, navigating, or responding to formal regulatory audits preferred.

  • Base salary of $83,000–$93,000 annually.
