Description

  • Maintain compliance calendars, evidence requirements, submissions, and corrective-action plans.
  • Monitor student data, document management, enrollment, attendance, and compliance training completion.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into checklists, workflows, training, documentation, and internal controls.
  • Compile and analyze information for compliance audits, including school websites, policies, procedures, and implementation of school law.
  • Monitor legislation and advise school leaders on actions required to meet local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Coordinate compliance data with internal departments and maintain audit trails, issue logs, decision records, approvals, and corrective-action evidence.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and systems that provide administrative support to schools.
  • Research regulatory questions and provide guidance to team members and school leaders.
  • Support authorization and partnership renewals and new school proposals.
  • Provide professional development and ongoing compliance resources for school leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products.
  • Knowledge of student data compliance, monitoring, corrective action, and reporting.
  • Prior school-setting experience preferred.
  • Experience managing legal and regulatory compliance, particularly in education, preferred.
  • Experience creating and documenting procedures and workflows.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong written and oral communication, leadership, organization, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage difficult situations, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, lift 25 pounds, and pass federal and state criminal background checks.
  • Applicants in New York, California, and Colorado are not eligible.
