Description

  • Take end-to-end ownership of projects from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Build and evolve the live Forecasting product by defining and delivering features grounded in real customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with business teams and customers through discovery and exploration calls to inform product direction and requirements.
  • Collaborate across engineering and R&D teams to enhance core Admin Platform services such as authentication, users, settings, and configurations.
  • Design and build high-performance, low-latency systems and APIs that scale efficiently and improve operational costs using customer insights and data analysis.
  • Follow and promote software design and development best practices across the team.
  • Ensure code quality and reliability through appropriate unit test coverage, integration testing, and load testing.
  • Document design decisions and operational knowledge, and maintain robust alerting, dashboards, and runbooks for production services.
  • Operate autonomously within an independent team and drive features from conception to production shipping.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience working on backend systems in an enterprise environment.
  • 2+ years of programming experience in Python (2.x/3.x), Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with SOA, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade stacks for scalable web apps, including messaging brokers, in-memory storage, and key-value databases.
  • Strong knowledge of TDD, unit testing, and automated test paradigms.
  • Experience with SQL and RDBMS solutions.
  • Experience with containerized applications, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • DevOps mindset with AWS experience as a plus.
  • Experience with LLMs is a plus and experience with large-scale data processing (Spark) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
