Description

  • Lead the operation and evolution of production-grade Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments.
  • Define and drive GitOps strategy and standards across the organization using ArgoCD-based workflows.
  • Architect and establish Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code standards, including reusable modules, state management, and drift detection.
  • Lead platform observability strategy and incident response processes to improve availability, performance, and resilience.
  • Partner with and mentor application teams to onboard services onto the platform and build self-service workflows.
  • Design and establish security control standards for RBAC, network policies, and secrets management.
  • Drive integration of platform capabilities with continuous integration pipelines to establish end-to-end delivery workflows.
  • Influence architectural decisions and mentor engineers across teams.

Requirements

  • Experience operating and evolving production Kubernetes clusters across one or more cloud environments such as Amazon EKS, Google GKE, or Azure AKS.
  • Experience designing and running GitOps-based continuous delivery workflows with ArgoCD, Flux, or similar tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or equivalent, including reusable modules, state management, and drift detection.
  • Ability to write and maintain automation using Python, Bash, Go, or a similar scripting language.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing, ingress, and related patterns such as service mesh.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including mentoring, documentation, and runbook creation.
  • Experience with CI tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Tekton.
  • Experience with security controls such as Vault, Sealed Secrets, or External Secrets Operator.
