Description

  • Set the strategic roadmap and quarterly OKRs for lifecycle marketing with clear impact on retention and revenue.
  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle strategy to convert leads, drive retention, and re-engage churned customers.
  • Own customer experiences across email, SMS, push/in-app, logged-in web, doorstep, and loyalty programs.
  • Build frameworks for automated, segmented, and personalized customer journeys at scale.
  • Own multi-step lifecycle flows and campaigns, including welcome, onboarding, replenishment, VIP treatment, churn prevention, and re-engagement.
  • Drive automation, dynamic segmentation, content personalization, and lifecycle experimentation.
  • Define lifecycle KPIs, measure performance, and translate data into actionable retention and value insights.
  • Partner with Demand and Supply teams to inform forecasting using lifecycle data and insights.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Content, Product, CX, Commercial, and HCP teams to align messaging with brand, regulatory, and customer needs.
  • Leverage and help shape the lifecycle tech stack and vendor ecosystem, including ESP, CRM, CDP, and experimentation tools.
  • Directly manage the Lifecycle Marketing Director and lead the cross-functional retention group.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in lifecycle/CRM or subscription marketing.
  • 4+ years in senior leadership roles such as Director or Senior Director.
  • Experience leading retention efforts for a consumer subscription or DTC brand, preferably in health-oriented industries.
  • Strong quantitative background with hands-on experience in cohort analysis, LTV modeling, A/B testing, and SQL/analytics partnerships.
  • Deep practical experience building email and SMS programs, marketing automation, lifecycle flows, and personalization at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of deliverability, ESPs, CDPs, and orchestration tools.
  • Track record of partnering with Brand, Creative, Growth, Product, and CX teams in matrixed environments.
  • Experience as a people manager, including hiring and coaching.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, lean, collaborative environments is preferred.
  • Health-oriented consumer brand experience is preferred.
