Description

  • Analyze inventory balances, purchasing activity, material usage, and consumables spending across the business.
  • Support purchasing plans by monitoring demand trends, inventory levels, and supply requirements.
  • Identify inventory risks such as shortages, excess inventory, slow-moving materials, and obsolete stock.
  • Partner with Accounting on inventory receipts, transfers, cycle counts, adjustments, and reserve analysis.
  • Assist with month-end close through reconciliations, variance analysis, and inventory reporting.
  • Maintain purchasing and inventory data integrity within ERP systems and validate data across multiple systems.
  • Develop recurring dashboards and reports covering inventory, costs, reserves, turnover, and spending trends.
  • Provide leadership with actionable insights and perform ad hoc analyses on inventory performance and supplier trends.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to improve inventory controls and decision-making.
  • Identify and support process improvements, automation, and ERP reporting enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory accounting, cost analysis, supply chain finance, purchasing analytics, operational finance, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory planning, inventory accounting, cost analysis, variance analysis, and month-end close.
  • Experience working within ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, lookups, dashboards, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to operational stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting distributed, multi-site, warehouse, field service, or logistics operations (preferred).
  • Experience within inventory-intensive environments managing high-volume materials or consumables (preferred).
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, or similar reporting platforms (preferred).

  • Base pay range of $90,000 to $120,000 USD.
