Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for 20–30 active client accounts and manage ongoing client communication.
  • Own client check-ins, strategic conversations, expectation setting, and proactive churn prevention.
  • Review campaigns before launch to ensure technical readiness, copy quality, and deliverability setup.
  • Diagnose and resolve underperforming campaigns, deliverability issues, inbox placement problems, and low-converting messaging.
  • Continuously optimize open rates, reply rates, meeting conversion, and overall campaign performance.
  • Own campaign execution quality across inbox warm-up, domain health, deliverability, list quality, and sending infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot spam placement, DNS issues, API or integration problems, and automation breakdowns.
  • Build operational playbooks, delivery workflows, onboarding systems, QA processes, and client communication standards.
  • Track SLAs, client health, delivery metrics, and operational bottlenecks to support scalable operations.
  • Coordinate closely with development, outreach, and operations teams, and report risks, churn concerns, and priorities to the founder.

Requirements

  • Experience leading client operations, account ownership, or delivery operations in a fast-growing startup or agency.
  • Strong background in cold email, lead generation, or outbound operations.
  • Hands-on experience with deliverability, inbox placement, domain warm-up, campaign optimization, and cold email copywriting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot campaigns directly without relying entirely on technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, automations, workflows, and operational systems.
  • Daily practical use of ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI workflow tools.
  • Startup operator mindset with a proactive, execution-focused approach.
  • Comfort working in changing priorities and imperfect systems that need improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with founders and executives.
