Description

  • Lead the day-to-day performance of the International Moving Division.
  • Oversee international household goods relocations from origin through destination.
  • Manage sales, pricing, quoting, shipping, customs, destination services, and customer experience.
  • Improve sales processes, conversion rates, margins, and pipeline performance.
  • Coach, recruit, train, mentor, and manage remote teams across multiple departments.
  • Establish KPIs, SOPs, accountability systems, and performance reviews.
  • Resolve complex customer escalations and improve the end-to-end customer journey.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process, technology, and automation improvements.
  • Partner with ownership on growth strategy, expansion, and long-term scaling initiatives.
  • Monitor divisional performance, risks, and opportunities and translate strategy into execution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of international household goods moving experience.
  • Experience managing an international moving company, business unit, or major division.
  • Hands-on knowledge of ocean freight, air freight, customs procedures, international shipping documentation, destination services, pricing, and quoting.
  • Experience overseeing multiple departments, ideally Sales, Operations, Pricing, Sales Support, and Customer Service.
  • Proven experience managing and developing remote teams.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience building KPIs, SOPs, and accountability systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • High level of computer proficiency and comfort learning new technology.
  • Experience with CRM, transportation management, or workflow management systems is strongly preferred.
  • U.S. international moving market experience is preferred.
  • Freight forwarding experience is preferred.
  • Experience scaling an international moving operation is preferred.
  • Transportation Management System (TMS), CRM, workflow management, technology implementation, or process automation experience is preferred.
