Description

  • Build, launch, and optimize email campaigns across major ESP platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Write subject lines, email copy, and calls-to-action tailored to specific audience segments.
  • Design and optimize responsive email templates aligned with brand guidelines, including light HTML/CSS edits when needed.
  • Manage email databases and segment audiences by lifecycle stage, engagement, persona, geography, and behavior.
  • Clean and maintain email lists by removing inactive users, hard bounces, spam traps, and duplicates.
  • Build and maintain drip campaigns, nurture sequences, abandoned cart flows, onboarding workflows, and other behavioral automations.
  • Test workflow logic and trigger conditions to ensure automations function correctly.
  • Monitor sender reputation, inbox placement, and deliverability performance, and troubleshoot issues using deliverability tools.
  • Run A/B tests and analyze campaign metrics such as open rates, CTR, conversion rates, bounce rates, and unsubscribe rates.
  • Build dashboards and reports, and present campaign insights, recommendations, and optimization strategies to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional email marketing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major ESP such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation and email automation workflows.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting, and segmentation.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template customization.
  • Experience tracking and analyzing email campaign performance metrics.
  • Experience managing email programs for 50k+ contacts is preferred.
  • Familiarity with deliverability and inbox placement tools such as Litmus, GlockApps, or Postmark is preferred.
  • Experience integrating ESPs with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred.
  • Background in SaaS, e-commerce, or professional services is preferred.
  • Understanding of lifecycle marketing and behavioral email strategies is preferred.
  • Full-time availability with working hours aligned to U.S. client business hours, with flexibility for campaign launches and reporting deadlines.
