Description

  • Lead employee relations support, policy interpretation, and resolution of workplace concerns with sound judgment and clear documentation.
  • Advise managers on performance, conduct, conflict, and team dynamic issues, escalating high-risk matters when needed.
  • Design and run a manager coaching curriculum and maintain tools that strengthen manager capability across the organization.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-leadership roles, including sourcing, screening, interview design, and offer coordination.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and develop structured interview frameworks aligned to the competency model.
  • Own the annual and mid-year performance review cycles, including launch, communications, calibration prep, timeline management, and quality review.
  • Build and maintain onboarding and learning and development programs, including an annual L&D calendar and external facilitator/vendor management.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including new hire setup, offboarding, employment verifications, and employee status changes.
  • Administer benefits with the PEO and maintain HR compliance, record retention, I-9 compliance, and multi-state employment law requirements.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for HRIS and other people systems while maintaining data accuracy and process consistency.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in HR, including at least 7 years focused on employee relations, manager development/coaching, or talent management.
  • Technical recruiting experience is required.
  • Experience managing a team is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching managers through performance and conduct situations.
  • Deep working knowledge of employee relations, talent development, performance management, full-cycle recruiting, compensation and benefits, and multi-state employment law.
  • Experience designing and delivering learning programs that drive behavior change.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and written influence skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Asana, Culture Amp or a comparable performance platform, an ATS, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience using AI tools in an HR context and evaluating their practical limitations and applications.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, benefits administration, and multi-state compliance in a remote workforce.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • HR certification is strongly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship is available.

  • Salary range of $130,000 to $150,000, with starting pay typically in the lower half of the range.
