Description

  • Develop the foundation for enterprise data architecture, including platforms, methodologies, programs, processes, standards, metrics, and data structures.
  • Drive strategic data programs and help define and implement the organization’s data and analytics strategy and roadmap.
  • Own the architectural effectiveness of data-related initiatives across the organization.
  • Operationalize and facilitate governance programs for data platforms, data quality, data security, and platform usage standards.
  • Align enterprise data platform architecture with business and technology strategy and communicate plans to stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Define technical strategy, standards, roadmaps, and guidelines for the data platform architecture domain.
  • Create conceptual data platform architecture diagrams for large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Lead selection and implementation of data platforms to support modern data architecture and key use cases.
  • Design secure, governed, cost-efficient data solutions and optimize enterprise data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with and mentor architects, technical leaders, and business partners on modern data architecture practices and target-state architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience; master’s degree preferred.
  • Typically requires 12+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Experience with process management and problem solving.
  • Varied experience across data management, big data, data quality, data modeling, data governance, data integration/ETL, metadata management, and data security.
  • Enterprise experience with modern data architecture efforts across technical and business disciplines.
  • Experience strategizing, designing, and implementing secure, governed, and cost-efficient cloud data platforms.
  • Financial industry experience preferred; compatible domain experience will be considered.
  • Experience with BSA/AML tools, preferably Actimize.
  • Experience with technologies such as Snowflake, Matillion, Talend, Power BI, and ThoughtSpot.
  • Experience supporting regulated workloads such as SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, and OCC requirements.
  • Proven success planning, influencing, and leading initiatives across engineering and business organizations.
  • Strong SQL knowledge, performance optimization, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
