Description

  • Design, develop, and deliver data solutions across Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments.
  • Design and document scalable, secure data integration and analytics architectures.
  • Build data strategies through organization-wide analysis to support client needs.
  • Communicate implementation plans, technical approaches, and associated costs to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members and support the growth of the Data & AI Services team.
  • Lead DevOps and CI/CD solution design and implementation.
  • Own project backlog, sprint planning, and task estimation.
  • Oversee project teams and source code to keep delivery on track, on budget, and supported.
  • Support technical pre-sales conversations, requirements gathering, and estimation.
  • Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Perform hands-on implementation of Microsoft data solutions.
  • Partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, including Azure, SQL, Synapse, Spark, or Delta Lake.
  • 7+ years of experience with ETL tools and processes such as ADF Pipelines or SSIS, Analysis Services, DAX, and Power BI Pro/Premium, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Data Architect role.
  • Experience with big data and event-driven technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Event Hubs, and Service Bus.
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud data platforms and services.
  • Experience designing and implementing data solutions for complex business problems.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience migrating data processing workloads from on-premises to Azure cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Kimball dimensional modeling and batch/incremental ETL development approaches.
  • Experience with database performance tuning, data quality monitoring, and data governance methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft ERP and CRM tools desirable.
  • Open to approximately 10% travel as needed.
