Description

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships that support customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and aligning them with company solutions.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow account value and increase revenue.
  • Manage renewals and contract negotiations to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and proactively recommend solutions to improve engagement.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to provide strategic guidance to clients.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts effectively across a large portfolio.
  • Collaborate with a regionally aligned Customer Engineer and cross-functional teams to support customer outcomes.
  • Navigate complex customer situations and influence stakeholders throughout the sales and retention cycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing B2B software sales, ideally focused on SMB.
  • Demonstrated ability to own complex customer relationships end-to-end and deliver measurable business results.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, renewal, and expansion targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A growth mindset, including openness to feedback and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Operational excellence in CRM systems such as Salesforce and data-driven sales practices.
  • Experience in a software sales environment (nice to have).
  • Background in business development or consultative selling (nice to have).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences, customer events, and internal gatherings.
