Description

  • Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software and storage environments.
  • Analyze customer business goals, needs, and operating environment to design technical system solutions.
  • Prepare written software and storage specifications from architectural diagrams and supporting documents.
  • Create, review, and maintain design, functional, technical, and user documentation as needed.
  • Develop, review, and implement test strategies for software and storage products and systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with the Java technology stack, with a focus on architecture and design.
  • Strong experience in Java programming, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, data structures, design patterns, Oracle Database, and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with application servers, with primary focus on Tomcat.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Strong object-oriented programming knowledge and a passion for design patterns and their application.
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Microservices, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
  • Relevant experience in software or storage product development is preferred.
