Description

  • Develop and implement retention-focused lifecycle strategies and campaigns to increase repeat purchase rate, reduce churn, and grow customer lifetime value.
  • Identify lifecycle gaps and customer drop-off points, build customer journey maps, and use behavioral data to improve retention.
  • Own the day-to-day management and optimization of post-purchase, replenishment, cross-sell, upsell, win-back, subscription reactivation, and customer education flows.
  • Support acquisition-adjacent lifecycle touchpoints such as opt-ins, welcome flows, and abandoned cart programs.
  • Develop post-purchase education strategies that help customers use products successfully and stay engaged.
  • Design, build, and optimize email templates and lifecycle campaigns with strong deliverability and brand consistency.
  • Implement segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content strategies to improve engagement and retention.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and use performance data to drive ongoing optimization.
  • Own and maintain retention dashboards, monitor key metrics, and present insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor deliverability, inbox placement, and subscriber health, and collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Experience, Product, E-commerce, Subscription, and Creative teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of email marketing experience, with significant lifecycle and retention marketing experience.
  • Experience supporting DTC ecommerce brands in the CPG health, supplement, or wellness space.
  • Proven experience developing lifecycle strategies and campaigns that improve repeat purchase rate, reduce churn, and grow customer lifetime value.
  • Strong experience designing and optimizing email templates and lifecycle campaigns, including email UX, mobile responsiveness, inbox rendering, and QA best practices.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Klaviyo, including advanced segmentation, automation, personalization, and deliverability best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting lifecycle and email metrics and designing/analyzing A/B tests.
  • Experience monitoring and optimizing deliverability, inbox placement, and subscriber health.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain performance insights and strategic recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment and anticipate challenges and solutions.
  • Bonus: Experience or interest in holistic nutrition, health science, biology, functional medicine, or nutritional supplement products.
  • Bonus: Understanding of direct-to-consumer psychology, retention levers, and conversion rate optimization principles.
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience with UTM tracking, attribution, Google Analytics, and Mixpanel.
  • Bonus: Experience in graphic design and hands-on experience with Figma.
  • Bonus: Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email production.
  • Bonus: Project management certification or formal project management training.

  • Salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, DOE.
