Description

  • Own long-term customer LTV as the core KPI and set lifecycle and retention strategy to improve it.
  • Operationalize personalization and segmentation so the right message reaches the right customer at the right time.
  • Embed AI into flows, reporting, and creative generation to increase team output without adding headcount.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three across subscriber experience and lifecycle/retention functions.
  • Test and scale new 1:1 channels such as Direct Mail, Instagram DM, and WhatsApp beyond email and SMS.
  • Partner with Ecommerce, CX, Performance, and Brand as the cross-functional voice of LTV.
  • Support loyalty, membership, and subscription strategy, including cancel-flow and save-strategy work.
  • Work closely with the team to stay hands-on with strategy and execution while raising operating standards.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in retention, lifecycle, loyalty, or subscriber marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams, including at least one Director-level direct report.
  • Experience as a senior leader such as VP or Sr. Director at a high-growth subscription DTC business.
  • Proven track record of moving a primary LTV or retention metric at scale.
  • Deep fluency in subscription platforms such as SKIO, Recharge, or Ordergroove.
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo and/or Postscript.
  • Production experience using AI to automate flows, reporting, or personalization.
  • Experience managing a team that built or scaled a loyalty or membership program.
  • Strong understanding of loyalty program design, economics, and benefits.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and directly, with a strong point of view on lifecycle marketing.
