Description

  • Participate in prospective and existing client meetings to understand data requirements and recommend solutions that fit business use cases.
  • Own the technical relationship with the company’s most strategic and largest prospective clients.
  • Design workflows that integrate Oxylabs solutions into clients’ systems.
  • Lead requirements discovery, solution presentations, proof-of-concept builds, and client workshops.
  • Engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to demonstrate solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance on web scraping, data structures, anti-bot bypass techniques, and related product questions.
  • Respond to advanced product and technical questions, RFPs, and security questionnaires accurately and on time.
  • Support customer onboarding with thoughtful technical guidance to help customers succeed quickly.
  • Document technical considerations and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to support engagements and provide technical input.
  • Curate structured product feedback for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Train the sales team on product details, upcoming releases, competitive analysis, and customer environment insights.

Requirements

  • Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/MTLS, proxies, load balancing, NAT, and VPN.
  • Strong data background with APIs, data pipelines, data quality/validation, normalization, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with digital-native architectures such as APIs, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
  • Hands-on debugging experience across multiple technical layers.
  • Practical experience with at least one global cloud platform and one China cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba, Tencent, Huawei, or Byteplus.
  • Experience in web data acquisition at scale, including session management, fingerprinting considerations, CAPTCHA strategies, and rotation policies.
  • Understanding of IP reputation management and residential/mobile/datacenter IP sourcing in China, along with compliance constraints.
  • Ability to troubleshoot target-site variability and optimize success rates.
  • Ability to isolate GFW issues versus target-site WAF issues versus ISP congestion.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and telemetry tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and meeting facilitation skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Eligibility to travel to Europe, Mainland China, and the APAC region.
  • Proven experience collaborating with technical stakeholders such as product owners, software engineers, and CTOs.
  • Strong attention to quality and detail.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot client problems and deliver solutions.
  • Nice-to-have experience with Kubernetes, containers, Terraform, or CI/CD basics.
  • Nice-to-have scripting ability in Python, Go, or JavaScript.
  • Nice-to-have certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Alibaba/AWS/Azure Associate or Professional, CKA, CKAD, CISSP, or CCSP.
  • Nice-to-have domain exposure in AI, e-commerce, fintech, adtech, travel, or marketplace data in China.
