Description

  • Work under the guidance of the Senior Director, Medical Economics.
  • Maintain and enhance models that forecast the financial impact of proposed clinical and payment policy changes.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses and stress testing to assess outcomes under multiple utilization and cost scenarios.
  • Analyze integrated claims and operational data across medical, pharmacy, lab, and authorization sources to identify cost and trend drivers.
  • Provide proactive financial guidance on emerging clinical trends and their potential impact on financial performance.
  • Perform retrospective studies to compare actual financial and clinical outcomes against initial projections.
  • Build repeatable analytic processes that can scale across multiple programs.
  • Create executive-ready visualizations tailored to clinical and financial stakeholders.
  • Promote automation, documentation, AI use, and tooling improvements across the department.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Economics, Actuarial Science, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, or Health Services Research.
  • 4+ years of quantitative analysis experience using SQL.
  • Demonstrated track record of building analytics that drive business decisions and actions.
  • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or progress toward SOA credentialing, preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, preferred.
  • Relevant skills, education, and experience will influence final offer amount.
  • Must reside in Boston, MA for this fully remote role.
