Description

  • Work directly with product managers, designers, and other developers to build and ship features.
  • Adapt and iterate quickly based on user feedback and product metrics.
  • Own software architecture decisions, code reviews, and bug resolution.
  • Help shape and evolve the Android technology stack.
  • Craft, build, test, and deliver the Android application.
  • Collaborate with delivery managers, iOS and web developers, and partner teams.
  • Maintain a strong focus on product quality, visual design, UX, code quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support software design and contribute to engineering best practices in a dynamic agile environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
  • Expertise in Jetpack Compose, including UI state management and interoperability with XML/View-based layouts.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flow.
  • Deep understanding of Android architecture principles, from UI patterns such as MVP, MVVM, and MVI to modular platform architecture.
  • Experience with networking libraries such as Retrofit and with local persistence.
  • Experience with APIs, third-party libraries, and SDK integrations.
  • A testing-first mindset with experience in JUnit and Compose UI Testing.
  • Strong debugging skills and a passion for optimizing app performance and memory usage.
  • Experience working in a remote or globally distributed environment is helpful.
  • Interest in hospitality or restaurant-focused products is a plus.
