Description

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships across retainer accounts and project engagements.
  • Establish a regular client cadence through check-ins, roadmap reviews, and performance discussions.
  • Resolve client requests proactively and ensure consistently high service quality.
  • Design and improve Shopify experiences, including landing pages, product pages, checkout flows, campaign assets, and full store redesigns.
  • Analyze conversion performance, identify friction points, run tests, and turn customer behavior data into design improvements.
  • Coordinate with SEO, paid media, lifecycle marketing, and other specialists to support aligned execution.
  • Oversee delivery for the development team by scoping work, providing context, and aligning priorities with client goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities and strategic recommendations to increase value for clients and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales on content, case studies, proposals, and pitch materials.
  • Help define and evolve the Shopify practice, including service offerings, target markets, and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in eCommerce with a strong UX/UI design background applied to Shopify or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships in an agency, consulting, or service-based environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Conversion Rate Optimization, including testing, analysis, and data-driven decision making.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing eCommerce UX/UI work, ideally focused on Shopify stores.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and take ownership of outcomes with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
  • Experience owning both client communication and execution outcomes, rather than only working as a designer or account manager.
  • Experience managing client retention and satisfaction.
  • Experience conducting CRO initiatives such as A/B testing, funnel analysis, and conversion optimization.
  • Ability to translate customer behavior and business data into design recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, marketers, SEO specialists, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and turn them into recommendations or proposals.
  • Hands-on Shopify development experience, including Liquid, custom themes, or app integrations, is a plus.
  • Experience with CRO tools such as Hotjar, VWO, or Microsoft Clarity is a plus.
  • Experience with SEO for eCommerce is a plus.
  • Experience with Klaviyo or similar email marketing/CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Experience working with DTC brands or in a Shopify-focused agency is a plus.
  • Experience supporting business development efforts, proposals, case studies, or sales presentations is a plus.
