Description

  • Prospect and generate new business using cold calling, door knocking, networking, trade shows, and digital outreach (including using AI to build lead lists and email drip campaigns).
  • Sell Ooma’s suite of business communication products and solutions to small and mid-market companies.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing, managing each opportunity and pipeline progress.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quota.
  • Present personalized product demonstrations and deliver compelling pitches to prospects and decision-makers.
  • Document, track, and forecast deals, activities, and pipeline using Salesforce (or similar CRM).
  • Travel to industry events and trade shows across the US to generate leads and close business (~25% travel; on average 1–2 times/month).
  • Maintain professional growth by leveraging company resources and contributing to Ooma’s expansion.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quotas.
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality with a passion for new business acquisition and closing deals.
  • Industry experience in technology, telecom, or similar fields is a plus (but strong sales results are primary).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage leads and forecast opportunities.
  • Willingness and availability to travel approximately 25% (~1–2 times/month) for industry events and trade shows across the US.
  • Adaptable, resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven mindset.
  • Experience using AI or modern sales tools to build lead lists and run email campaigns (preferred).

  • Target OTE of $75,000–$85,000 (base + commission) and United States base salary range $75,000–$85,000.
