Description

  • Lead client projects and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients and partner closely with technical leads.
  • Create and maintain delivery roadmaps based on client priorities, backlog, and future initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules covering activities, deliverables, tasks, sequencing, effort, and resource needs.
  • Oversee project execution using the appropriate tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Negotiate and manage project scope, resolve blockers, and keep teams aligned and on task.
  • Forecast, track, and manage project budgets, burn, and revenue recognition.
  • Review, prioritize, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues as needed.
  • Manage project communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support business development by scoping, estimating, and helping prepare proposals for new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record delivering software or technology implementation projects ranging from $500k to $1MM.
  • Experience in a professional services environment such as a consulting firm or agency.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous engagements with delivery teams of 2-4+ FTEs.
  • Experience with multiple fee structures such as Time & Materials and Fixed Fee, and delivery models such as Project, Retainer, and Managed Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both external and internal clients, including senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of financial concepts including margin and revenue recognition across fee structures and contract types.
  • Experience with project estimation and writing SOWs, Change Orders, and similar project documents.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar tools, plus Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail.
  • Scrum Master certification and experience with Jira, Trello, or Asana are preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work CST hours.
  • Remote location flexibility.
