Description

  • Lead the overall social media strategy to drive engagement, audience growth, and brand affinity across channels.
  • Define content pillars and platform-specific approaches that connect business goals to social-first storytelling.
  • Own day-to-day social execution, including ideation, scripting, content production, and publishing support.
  • Develop editorial-style content that educates, entertains, and translates product and childhood nutrition topics into shareable formats.
  • Create repeatable series and episodic content across short-form video, long-form video, and carousel formats.
  • Guide Founder-specific content and shape how those narratives fit into the broader brand story.
  • Collaborate with influencer, PR, marketing, e-commerce, creative, and brand teams to produce cohesive social assets and campaigns.
  • Art direct internal designers, external collaborators, and creators to maintain a platform-native, elevated visual identity.
  • Analyze performance metrics, optimize content based on insights, and present results in quarterly business reviews.
  • Capture real-time, behind-the-scenes, and event content during shoots, activations, and company moments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading social media for a brand, media outlet, or publication, preferably in CPG, parenting, food, or lifestyle.
  • Background in a media or editorial environment, such as a magazine or digital publication, strongly preferred.
  • Strong editorial instincts and the ability to distill complex topics into compelling, digestible content.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop original content ideas and take creative risks.
  • Deep understanding of platform nuances across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Experience managing and directing creators, designers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect content performance to business outcomes.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms.
  • Must reside in the United States and be available for up to 10% travel.
  • Must provide a visual portfolio showcasing prior social content work.
  • Must demonstrate an editorial mindset and an ability to “find the story” in brand and food-related topics.
  • Must be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on creator.
  • Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and Marketing preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Full-time, salaried, exempt role with an anticipated salary range of $125,000 to $150,000.
