Description

  • Own the rolling 3-year innovation strategy and pipeline aligned to enterprise growth goals, category whitespace, and consumer needs.
  • Build and manage a balanced pipeline spanning core renovation, adjacent expansion, and breakthrough innovation.
  • Lead stage-gate evaluation of concepts based on size of prize, financial viability, feasibility, and strategic fit.
  • Translate consumer and market insights into product concepts, value propositions, and positioning strategies.
  • Partner with R&D, operations, brand, and go-to-market teams to bring products from ideation through development, testing, launch, and commercialization.
  • Oversee packaging, pricing strategy, claims, and launch planning for new products.
  • Identify emerging consumer trends, whitespace opportunities, and category disruptions in baby and kids foods and adjacent categories.
  • Serve as a cross-functional connector across Marketing, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to align innovation execution.
  • Advise executive leadership on innovation priorities, investment decisions, trade-offs, and resource allocation.
  • Own innovation-driven revenue targets, monitor post-launch performance, and implement optimization plans to improve in-market results.
  • Build and lead a high-performing innovation team and develop stronger innovation processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Oversee innovation-related investments and partner with Finance to build business cases and track ROI.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of work experience, including significant experience in CPG/food and in a brand management role.
  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience scaling a rapidly growing business or product line, preferably in a high-growth CPG startup or fast-growing line within a larger CPG company.
  • Successful track record of innovation launches within the baby, toddler, kids snacking, or beverage space.
  • Deep experience working cross-functionally across R&D, marketing, insights, sales, and operations.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution and commercialization experience.
  • Experience in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, develop cohesive strategy, and make high-judgment decisions.
  • Must reside in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Up to 25% travel required.
  • Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and Marketing preferred.

  • Competitive salaried compensation with an anticipated range of $185,000 to $220,000.
